Because I Want To Do It

I know it's an unusual way to post (hey! is that Doing It Differently? I'm submitting this to a blog carnival with that theme. I'm a bit afraid it won't be accepted because of the unusual format - maybe the format itself fits the theme ! Here's hoping...)
