Making Rehab Accessible - What Can I Do To Help?

In Friday's post, I mentioned the Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation Act of 2007

There are now only ten days left to speak up on this important issue.
Frank Barret of EFFORTS explains:

There is a quirk in the current Medicare regulations that results in differing (or no) coverage for pulmonary rehabilitation in different areas of the country. We, and many other organizations, have been trying to convince Medicare to correct this.
However, Medicare has been non-receptive so far and now proposes to issue a formal statement simply continuing the present uneven and unjust coverage rules.

Please tell Medicare you want uniform pulmonary rehabilitation coverage in all 50 States. If you are hesitant about how to do it or what to say, you can browse the comments sent to Medicare so far, and then send Medicare your own experience and/or thoughts....
